What are message variables?
Message variables allow you to automatically populate specific fields that apply to individual Employees (e.g. their first name or last name). They are useful when used in tandem with Templates for repeatable messages, and they allow for more personalized messages to be sent on a larger and more efficient scale.
Currently the following variables are supported:
{{ first_name }} - the employee's first name
{{ last_name }} - the employee's last name
{{ company_name }} - your company's name in Yourco
When would I want to use message variables?
When you would like to send out a text to multiple Employees that requires the specific first name, last name, or company name of an Employee.
When you would like to store repeatable messaging in a template that requires one of the previously mentioned fields.
