Enabling The Messenger Scrollbar

How do I enable the messenger scrollbar?

  1. Select your name in the bottom left corner.

  2. Click My Preferences.

  3. Find the Messenger Settings section and click Change Messenger Settings.

  4. Under Messenger Experience, turn the scrollbar on or off.

  5. Click Save.

Who can enable the messenger scrollbar?

Admin

Full access

Manager

Full access

Employee

No access

Note: Messenger scrollbar settings are specific to each Admin or Manager and do not apply system-wide.

When would I want to enable the messenger scrollbar?

  • You would like to be able to scroll through messages by clicking and dragging a scroll bar instead of using the mouse wheel or trackpad.
